Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

This policy describes how Tuxwell LLC (“Tuxwell,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information on tuxwell.com and in our direct communications (email, phone and text messages) with prospective and current customers. Our software products may have their own terms, which apply to the data businesses store in them.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use it

We use this information to respond to your questions, schedule demos and onboarding, provide support, keep notes of our calls (transcripts and AI summaries), send account or service notices, keep our services secure, and meet legal obligations. We don’t sell personal information.

4. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS) Terms and Privacy

These are the terms of Tuxwell’s text messaging program. The program covers Tuxwell (Tuxwell LLC) communications with prospective and current customers: replies to your questions, demo and onboarding scheduling, support, and account or service notices.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties. This doesn’t include service providers that handle this information only on our behalf, to run our contact form, deliver its messages to us and send our texts (Amazon Web Services, Resend, Google Workspace and Dialpad), and that may not use it for their own purposes.

Our messaging provider, Dialpad, processes your phone number and messages to deliver them and to manage opt-out (STOP) status on our behalf, and not for its own marketing.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers that operate our services for us (hosting and processing contact form requests: Amazon Web Services; delivering contact form messages to us by email: Resend; email: Google Workspace; phone, messaging and call transcription: Dialpad, as described in sections 2 and 4), when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business. We don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then delete it. Records we’re required to keep by law, and backups, follow their own schedules before deletion.

Requests sent through our contact form are kept for 5 years as a record of your request, and then deleted; they’re protected against alteration during that time. If you ask us to delete your information, we’ll delete these records too, unless we’re required to keep them by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices

9. Children

Our website and services aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and its “Last updated” date.
